Product Introduction
The OI325 Oil Interceptor is designed to separate oil from oil-contaminated wastewater before it enters the drainage system. It is suitable for petrol stations, automotive workshops, washing bays and industrial facilities handling oily wastewater.
Built with 304 stainless steel, the OI325 shares the same body specifications as the GTA325, with an additional internal honeycomb filter for oil separation applications.
The honeycomb filter helps calm wastewater flow and reduce turbulence, supporting the separation of oil from water before discharge or further treatment.
Key Features
-
304 stainless steel construction
-
Internal honeycomb filter to support oil separation
-
Helps reduce wastewater flow turbulence
-
Three-compartment design for staged separation
-
Accessible for routine cleaning and maintenance
-
Designed for oil-contaminated wastewater applications
How It Works
Wastewater enters the interceptor and passes through the internal compartments, allowing heavier particles to settle while separable oil rises to the surface.
The honeycomb filter helps regulate the flow through the system, supporting oil separation before the wastewater reaches the outlet.
Accumulated oil, settled solids and debris must be removed regularly to maintain performance.

Maintenance
Inspect the interceptor regularly and remove accumulated oil, sludge and debris. Clean the honeycomb filter as required to prevent clogging and maintain wastewater flow.
Maintenance frequency should be adjusted according to wastewater volume and oil loading.
Discharge Requirements
The OI325 supports oil separation as part of a properly designed wastewater management system. Final discharge quality depends on wastewater characteristics, correct sizing, installation, maintenance and any additional treatment required.
Discharge should be assessed against the applicable DOE and local authority requirements for the
